Lawyer
Mr Suppiah Krishnamurthi graduated with an Honours Degree from the University of London in 1991. He was admitted to the English Bar in 1996 and in 1998 returned to Singapore where he was then admitted to the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Murthi has been practicing law for the past 17 years. He has used his know-how to help his clients clear their names in highly contested criminal cases and ensured justice for them.
Murthi’s multi-faceted talents also sees him actively involved in civil and family matters. One of the very few legal counsels who are proficient in Syariah Court matters allows him to provide very much needed expert advice to his clients.
It is this expertise in these diverse areas of law that Murthi hopes can be of some real assistance to those who are disadvantaged yet in real need of legal advice. It is this belief that drives him to volunteer his services in the CLAS Pro Bono programme.
